At approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 20, Vail Police responded to a report of an assault and robbery that occurred aboard a Town of Vail bus at the Vail Racquet Club transit stop. 

A subject engaged in a verbal altercation with another individual. The situation escalated when the subject forcibly took the victim's personal belongings and then assaulted him. A second individual was seen accompanying the primary subject and may serve as an investigative lead in the case.  

Vail Police are actively working to identify both individuals involved in the incident. All suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
