On the south side, crews will save a tree at the entrance, working around it as they ready the area for pavers. Crews are framing the roof, adding steel, and working on concrete columns as the area begins to take its new shape. The upgrades will increase the maximum spectator capacity of the arena to 1,400 for hockey games and 3,500 for concerts and shows. Holy Cross Energy has activated temporary transformers to get power to the building. There will be full road closures and single-lane closures of West Meadow Drive throughout the project. Please avoid the area if possible and follow all instructions given by the traffic control personnel. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall 2026. Contractor is Hyder Construction.
