The Town of Vail will sponsor the next installment of its Lunch with Locals series at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 17 in the Grand View Room at the Lionshead Welcome Center.

Pete Wadden, Watershed Specialist, will provide an update on the status of aquatic macroinvertebrates in Gore Creek and offer information about how landscaping practices impact aquatic life. Experts from the Town of Vail, Eagle River Coalition, and Eagle River Water & Sanitation District will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be stickers and informational brochures available to attendees.
