UPDATE: After further assessment of the damaged gondola car, the estimated damage is now believed to be between $3,000 and $10,000, which is deemed a felony offense.

 On Sept. 14, Vail Police responded to a report of property damage on the south side of the Covered Bridge. Vail Officers discovered a vintage gondola car with a broken window. The damage is estimated to be from $300 to $1,000. There were no functional cameras in the area at the time of the offense.

All suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
