Town of Vail Transitions into Free Fall Parking; Continues Enhanced Summer Bus Schedule

Post Date:09/26/2025 10:13 AM

The Town of Vail will transition to free fall parking beginning Monday, Sept. 29 through Nov. 13 in all town-owned parking garages and lots. Overnight restrictions still apply, please obey all posted signage. Vail Transit will continue operating its free and convenient summer bus schedule, which was expanded earlier this summer to include Lions Ridge Loop and West Vail Express routes, previously only offered in winter, as well as increased service on the Sandstone route. The East Vail Express route will also continue, which overlaps with the regular East Vail route during peak travel hours to give riders access to most of East Vail every 15 minutes. The full schedule can be found at www.vail.gov/bus

Real time bus information, such as bus locations and percent full, can be found at ride.vail.gov. Hard copies of the bus schedule are available at the Vail Transportation Center.

The expanded bus schedule complements the Core Transit bus schedule, which operates for free throughout the majority of Eagle County. Schedule information can be found at www.CoreTransit.org.

The 2025-26 winter parking program in Vail begins Nov. 14 to coincide with the opening of Vail Mountain. Information on the complete parking program will be available at www.vail.gov in early October with pass sales beginning Oct. 23.
