The Town of Vail will sponsor another installment of its Lunch with the Locals series at noon Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Grand View Room above Lionshead Welcome Center.

Josh Rumble from Eagle River Coalition and Bill Hoblitzell from Lotic Hydrological will present a history of water quality monitoring in the Eagle River Watershed beginning with the Eagle Mine spills in the 1980s. Experts from the Town of Vail, Eagle River Coalition, and Eagle River Water & Sanitation District will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be stickers and informational brochures available to attendees.
