The Town of Vail will host the next installment of its Lunch with the Locals series at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Grand View Room above Lionshead Welcome Center.

Pete Wadden, Town of Vail Watershed Specialist, will give a presentation on the American beaver including its unique adaptations and the role it plays in shaping ecosystems. He also will explore the history of trapping and near extinction of these so-called "nuisance" animals and how they and humans can coexist. Lunch will be provided.
