Town of Vail buses will transition to the full winter schedule on Monday, Dec. 8. The schedule, which will run through mid-April, provides 15- to 30-minute service on most outlying routes during peak times and 30-minute to one-hour service on most outlying routes during non-peak times. The in-town shuttle, which services Golden Peak, Vail Village and Lionshead, will run every 5 to 10 minutes. A complete bus schedule is available online at www.vail.gov/bus.

The Town of Vail utilizes a transit operations management system called RideVail which provides real time bus information including bus locations, arrival predictions, crowding levels and service alerts. Information is available at https://ride.vail.gov.

The town's bus service is considered to be among the largest free transportation systems in the country offering its residents and guests timely service to and from Vail Mountain and throughout town.
