Featured Projects

Dobson Arena Remodel
Inside, on the northwest side of the arena, crews demolished old concrete and added new concrete in the “ice plant” area. Crews will begin demolishing the roof in that area to make room for the installation of ice-making equipment; then, they will rebuild the roof, making it higher. Crews continue to work on concourse level steel. Fireproofing operations remain active and well-coordinated alongside the structural work. Crews have tightened up construction barriers and expect there will be no full-road closures through the ski season. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall 2026. Contractor is Hyder McHugh Construction. Town of Vail contact is John King, 970-376-0949.
