Timber Ridge Village
Building F is moving toward completion with the owner punch process done, corrections and touch-up cleaning underway, and building, fire, and elevator final inspections continuing through the week alongside remaining exterior work including railing painting and final cladding details. Building G pushes forward on wood siding and stucco exteriors while PV system installation continues. At Building B, stucco is advancing across multiple elevations and metal siding is set to begin, with interior unit patch-and-stitch and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) garage rough-ins continuing in parallel. Building E sees a busy week on the exterior with wood and stucco siding beginning on the east and west elevations. At Building D, stone veneer work is fast approaching as exterior siding sequences ramp up. On the sitework front, backfill and base work continues along Lions Ridge Loop while crews complete additional work on the top landing of the eastern site stairs. Southface Vail (formerly West Middle Creek) Housing Development, 351 N. Frontage Road
Soil Nail Wall 3 continues its steady advance as second-tier soil nail installation progresses and shotcrete follows close behind each completed lift. On the east side of the site, crews mark a notable milestone this week — micropile caps for the mechanically, stabilized, earth (MSE) walls are poured and set, opening the door for wall construction to begin. Crane activity is building momentum. One crane is operational, anchor installation is underway, and base preparation for the next two cranes is moving forward. Across the building pad, concrete foundation work moves ahead on multiple fronts, with spread footing work pushing through the center of the site and continuous footing installation stretching the full length of the north wall. Compaction testing and backfill work continue in steady support throughout. Shaw Construction contact is John Payne, 303-350-1373. Town of Vail contact is Jason Dietz, 970-479-2145.
