Building F is in the final stretch, with building, fire alarm and elevator inspections ongoing. Minor remaining exterior work — metal panel installation, railing painting and gutters and downspouts — wraps up this week. Building G advances on exterior stucco across the north and south elevations alongside ongoing wood siding. At Building B, stucco progresses on the north elevation as exterior paint and caulking work begins. Building E pushes forward on exterior patch-and-stitch, stone veneer and secondary wall framing on the north side. At Building D, stone veneer and hold-down plate welding continue as the exterior siding sequence ramps up. Building C sees roof dry-in, shingle roofing and shear inspections underway. The temporary access road is being cut to subgrade and excavation for the western public staircase. Building F is on schedule to welcome its first residents this spring and the full development is on track for final delivery in Fall 2026. For more information on the development and housing units, visit Timber Ridge Village. Southface Vail (formerly West Middle Creek) Housing Development, 351 N. Frontage Road
Steady progress continues on soil nail wall 3 as second-tier wire installation and shotcrete application advance. Site excavation is moving quickly with roughly 8,000 yards complete — approximately halfway through total volume — and large hauls continuing to clear the building pad. Crane Pad B has been poured, and Crane Pad A is ready to pour following inspection, bringing both tower cranes closer to standing. Mechanically, stabilized earth (MSE) wall installation is also gaining ground, with wall 7 commencing and micropile drilling continuing westward along the alignment. Concrete foundation work continues across the building pad with spread footing and column forming sequences progressing through multiple areas simultaneously. On the utilities front, underground electrical work begins this week with joint trench excavation and temporary power installation both targeted to get underway. Shaw Construction contact is John Payne, 303-350-1373. Town of Vail contact is Jason Dietz, 970-479-2145.
