Most Town of Vail municipal offices will be closed for business on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Customers doing business with the town are asked to call or email before the holiday or on Tuesday, May 26 when services resume. Town information is available online at www.vail.gov. Transit services will operate uninterrupted.
The police front counter in the Municipal Building will be closed on Memorial Day. Call 911 for police, fire or medical emergencies or 970-479-2201 to speak to an officer for non-emergency questions.
The Vail Public Library will also be closed on Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 with regular hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents are also reminded that the Memorial Day holiday may mean some schedule adjustments for local trash haulers. Remember that Town of Vail wildlife protection regulations prohibit trash from being left at the curb other than on the day of collection and recycling regulations require that all properties recycle on site.
