The Town of Vail will sponsor the next installment of its Lunch with the Locals series at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Grand View Room above the Lionshead Welcome Center. 

In-stream flow water rights keep water in western slope rivers and streams. Bill Hoblitzell with Lotic Hydrological will discuss how these water rights are established and the role they play in protecting the health and vitality of river ecosystems and local economies. 

Lunch will be provided and there will be stickers and informational brochures available to attendees.
