Current Term: November 2021 - November 2025
Barry Davis is serving his first term as a Vail Town Council member after being elected to a four-year term in 2021. Barry moved to Vail after graduating from college for “just one season Mom, I promise” to pursue his love of outdoor recreation in the mountains.
While juggling a busy snowboarding, bartending and graduate school schedule, Barry had the opportunity to join the ownership of an après ski bar and never looked back.
Professionally, Barry has been involved in the creation of several hospitality businesses. Currently he and his wife Pamela operate a a catering company and continue to serve Vail locals and guests alike. Previously Barry served on Vail’s Commission on Special Events for eight years, chairing the Commission for four. Since being elected Barry has been named to represent Council on the Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council, Eagle Country Regional Transit Authority Formation Committee and the Sustainable Destination Steering Committee. He continues to be an active volunteer at Red Sandstone Elementary where his son Ziggy attends. In his free time Barry can most likely be found biking Vail’s North Trail, fly fishing on Gore Creek or trying to keep up with his son on the slopes of Vail Mountain.
