Request an Inspection

Inspections are requested by submitting an Inspection Request in your OpenGov portal.  We have moved our inspection process entirely to OpenGov, so there is no longer a need to request an inspection by email.

To ensure your request will be honored, be sure to provide the correct information in your permit request, including the contact information for the person who will be meeting the inspector on-site.

Inspection requests for the next business day MUST be received by 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Requests received after 4 p.m., over the weekend, or on a Town of Vail observed holiday will be scheduled the second business day, or on one of the requested dates.
