Request an Inspection

Inspections are requested by emailing the following:

• Building, Electrical, and Planning Inspections: inspections@vail.gov
• Fire Permit Inspection: fireinspections@vailgov.com

When submitting this email, please include the following information:

•  Permit Number
• Type of Inspection(s)
• On-site contact name & phone number
• Special instructions related to the inspection

 Building Permit Inspection Requests:

Contractors may request inspections by emailing inspections@vail.gov

To ensure your request will be honored, be sure to provide the correct permit number corresponding to the inspection requested. When requesting electrical inspections, please use the corresponding electrical permit number.

Inspection requests received by 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday will be scheduled the next business day.

Requests received after 4 p.m., over the weekend, or on a Town of Vail observed holiday will be scheduled the second business day.
