A Vail sales tax license is required when a person is engaged in business within the town and selling retail, tangible personal property, or services that are taxable. There is no charge for nor expiry of the license and the town does not offer a vendor's fee.

A Vail business license is required when a person is engaged in any business activity on premises within the town. The license must be renewed annually and expires 12/31 of each calendar year. A list of fees is found within Town Code, 4-1-4.
