 1. Register as Fire Contractor Other by contacting Community Development at cdev@vail.gov or calling 970-479-2139. Please make sure that you have completed the Fire Contractors Submittal form and have all the required documentation found on this webpage

2. Once you are a registered fire contactor, please fill out mobile food vehicle operations permit checklist (found below), download and save.  When you apply for your permit upload this document with your with the required documents as listed in the check list.

Permit Application is for erecting new or modifying an air-supported membrane structure, a temporary special event structure, or a tent having an area in excess of 400 sq. ft. or more 

Operational Permits for Tent, Temporary Special Event  Structures, and Other Membrane Structures Submittal Checklist. This includes Air-Inflated and Air-Supported Structures

 1. Register as Fire Contractor Other by contacting Community Development at cdev@vail.gov or calling 970-479-2139. Please make sure that you have completed the Fire Contractors Submittal form and have all the required documentation found  on this webpage.

2. Once you are registered as a Tent, Temporary Special Event Structure Contractor, determine which Permit Checklist is needed for your permit (found below) 

3.  Fill out the appropriate checklist then download and save. You will need to upload this document into the permit software with your with the required documents as listed in the check list.

Permit Application is for operating temporary heating or cooking equipment within tents or membrane structures
