Annually on or before February 1, Employee Housing Unit (EHU) owners are required to submit verification that the Employee Housing Unit is being utilized in a manner consistent with the terms of the applicable deed restriction and Employee Housing Guidelines. 

At this time, please email housing@vail.gov or call 970-479-2150 if you missed the deadline for 2025. The housing staff will help you with next steps for 2025 compliance.

Ordinance 24, Series of 2021 was approved and went into effect December 21, 2021.  A $250.00 late fee penalty per EHU will be charged to any EHU property owner submitting the annual compliance after required due date of February 1. Owners have until February 19th to pay the fee and submit the required compliance form. Failure to comply with the terms of the deed restriction will result in an enforcement action, including up to a summons to appear in court.
