Welcome Peace Officers! Celebrating its 50th year, it's time to get together with fellow alpine loving officers from around the state to race down Vail Mountain.
The hotel is within walking distance and also on the free bus route from the Vail Village Parking Structure. Ski gear and boots are not allowed into the hotel, so leave your gear at your vehicle and get on the In-Town bus at the base of the south stairs of the Vail Village Parking Structure and take the bus westbound toward Lionshead. Get off at the Vail Road and East Meadow bus stop near La Bottega/The Sonnenalp Resort. Walk west to the intersection with Vail Rd. and turn right, north. The entrance to The Sebastian is on your right 50 yards ahead at 16 Vail Road.
There is currently no lodging sponsor for the race. While hotels in Vail will be the most convenient, you are likely to find more affordable rates in Avon or Edwards. Many hotels offer shuttle service to Vail.

All participants must sign, individually, the (2) "Liability Release" prior to racing. Participants that have not signed the waiver will not be allowed to race. The individual scoring system will be as follows:
Awards will be awarded to the top five racers in the Men’s and Women’s Ski and Snowboard Divisions and the top 3 Masters divisions racers 50+ in each discipline
The Master’s category, consisting of male and female racers over 50. If a masters participant places in top 3 in the advanced category they will be scored there.

Skier/rider ability is based on basic ski/ ride ability, not race ability or experience. If you can ski black diamond runs comfortably you are an expert, if you can ski blue runs comfortably you are intermediate, if green runs are your bread and butter you are a beginner.
