Vail and Lionshead Villages are home to an extensive pedestrian mall. The ordinances and town code below were adopted to increase the safety of pedestrian traffic, reduce environmental impacts, allow for better emergency vehicle access by reducing congestion, and provide for a coordinated permitting process for certain low-impact vehicles to access pedestrian mall areas.
