Town of Vail Bus Information
The Town of Vail Transit Department provides free year-round bus service throughout Vail.
The town's bus service is considered to be one of the largest free transportation systems in the country offering its residents and guests timely service to and from Vail Mountain and throughout town.

Tips for Respectful Bus Travel
- Be early to your stop.
- No smoking, vaping or alcohol allowed.
- No pets allowed, including dogs unless it's a trained service animal.
- Buses are free to ride.
- Please stand behind the yellow line.
- On our outlying routes, please pull the stop request cord before your stop.
- Strollers are not allowed to block doors or aisles. Please collapse your stroller.
- Gather all your belongings before exiting the bus.
- Bikes racks are provided on the front our outlying buses as bikes are not permitted inside buses. Bikes are not allowed on the Intown buses.
- Buses are equipped with cameras for security purposes.
- All buses are ADA compliant with lift accessibility.
