The annual Vail America Days Parade is returning on the 4th of July. The Town is excited to host this much loved event again and is committed to producing a safe and smooth event.
The following impacts are expected in the parade footprint.
Mill Creek Circle: Parade Staging. From 8:00 am until 10:00 am on the 4th, Mill Creek Circle will be used for float staging. Residents will have access throughout this time, but it will be congested.
Vail Village: Large crowds and parade. From approximately 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. large crowds are expected in Vail Village. Vehicle access will be difficult prior to 8:30 am as parade crowds fill in. From 8:30 until the parade is through Vail Village, no vehicles will be able to enter or exit the following roads. Hanson Ranch Rd to Bridge Street. Bridge Street to Willow Bridge Road. Willow Bridge Road (Checkpoint Charlie) to Solaris. Meadow Drive from Solaris to Vail Road.
Meadow Drive: West Meadow Drive will be closed from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm from Vail Rd. to Lionshead. There will be no access in or out of any properties in this area.
Access to all Vail Health facilities will be from South Frontage from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
E. Lionshead Circle and Lionshead Village. From Approximately 10:00 am through 12:30 pm vehicle access to E. Lionshead Circle and Lionshead Village will be restricted for the parade.
*All times are subject to change. Regular operations will be restored as soon as it can be done safely.
