This trout cam project is a partnership between the Town of Vail and  Conservation Photo Initiative (CPI), a non-profit organization that produces professional photography for conservation-related organizations, campaigns, and educational projects. Todd Winslow Pierce, Vail native, photographer, and founder of CPI, facilitated the partnership and equipment grant from Fathom Ocean of Boulder, Colorado, a leading company in environmental monitoring technology.
